I don't know what happened to this, but I had it uploaded by Havoc whose site was hosted by Dugtrio 17 (correct?) and I'd just like to hear if anybody has this and if they'd be so kind to send me the zip file.

Thanks, Andy. I wish I could clarify more about this project (AFAIK I only did so on the Haven forum) but the original thread has been locked.

AN UPDATE

My memory is a bit hazy as to whether or not this was actually released. I seem to recall it was. Either way, I have pieced together two versions of Wolf Overkill, one dates from 2009 and another from 2011 (but only includes levels made up to and including approx. summer 2010) as this was just lying around. I have attached a read-me that should clarify further if there should be any questions.

Most of my ideas from this project were released (with some of the better 2010-2011 levels included) in a more compact and digestible setting as Time to Kill in March 2012. The original idea of Wolf Overkill was that it should contain 100 levels, and this was nearly a reality.

It should be noted that this is an unreleased project and should not be played with the intent of finishing the game. As such, both map editing files as well as a debugmode parameter have been included.

The download can be found here - and with this, I officially lay this project to rest. For the record, I made countless levels for this project and I suppose the fact that it never got released drained me for mapping inspiration for a long time in its aftermath. The choice was mine alone and it was not a wise choice, in hindsight, and probably the cause of why I in recent years have had a hard time getting projects up and running. Still, it deserves its spotlight and I hope you enjoy it.

Special thanks goes out to Havoc who did an absolutely brilliant work on the EXE which included numerous new enemies, weird algorhythms that made the numbers of the status bar appear as if it was a slot machine, chainsaws, motorbikes, new weapons, OGG Vorbis support and other features that were sadly never done any justice.
