Hello, I was editing the wolfenstein source code, and I wanted to install the Borland C++ 3.1 to start compiling, but when I tried to install it, appears a message saying ''Too many Subdirectories'' How can I resolve this error? Thanks for your time. I wait for response.

I tried to install it to C:\BC31 but the error appears again.

Setting up a DOS project can be a pain, especially since the tutorials for it are kind of obsolete with all the AUTOEXEC.BAT hassle. To help you out, here's a zip containing a standard Wolf3D source project. Just put it in C:\ and mount C C:\DOSCODE in Dosbox, and then type in cd\borlandc\bin and then bc and it should work. The output folder is WOLF3D, so just copy + paste your game files there (except the EXE, you'll get a new one when you compile.) You don't need to mess around with any autoexec file, because the turbo assembler EXEs are in the source folder.
