My next project after Operation: Zeitgeist will be a Wolfenstein 3D project going into the Pacific Theater. You'll play as a U.S. soldier fighting the Japanese, and it'll stick with the original Wolfenstein source code (maybe with some bug fixes, but no graphical additions and no new weapons - just some alterations). The story:
You are Captain Fred Parker, one of the best that the Allies have in the Pacific. You and your buddies were sitting at camp when all of a sudden, the crack of gunfire breaks out, and one of your comrades falls over. You and the others quickly dive to the ground and take what cover is available. You crawl behind your tent and fumble with your holster, trying to pull out your handgun. Suddenly, the butt of a Japanese submachinegun hits you in the back of the head and you fall to the mud, unconscious, the gunfire still crackling around you...
When you wake up, you take a moment to get your bearings. You're still at camp - but you're the only survivor. The bodies of your dead company litter the campsite, as well as a few Japanese casualties. The place was cleaned out - not a single bullet was left in place. You curse under your breath and look around. You still have your sidearm, but you'll need much better if you're going to survive on your lonesome. You scurry for an operational radio, but you only find one that's been riddled with bullets. You pray to God that it'll work and start turning dials, when all of a sudden...
KZZZT! "--under heavy fire and we're taking casualties! Repeat, we've come under heavy fire at Bravo Point and we're taki--" KZZT!
The radio dies, along with it your hope for a making a distress call. Still, if you can make it to Bravo Checkpoint, there's a chance you may get saved. You're about to set off when you hear footsteps in the area. You quickly take cover behind an empty munitions crate... |

Looks like the Japanese spelling for Wolfenstein or something - as far as I've read the action takes place in Pacific Theather. It would be cool to have a game called "Harakiri" tho, heh . |

Yeah, it's the Japanese spelling. It'll be mostly outside, and maybe some night levels as well. Anyway. Still working on O:Z. |
