Do you think it could possibily be possible for you to consider the mere thought of possibly changing the "notify me of a private message" feature so that when you are logged on, the email isn't sent, but if you are not logged on, the email is indeed sent? I get irritated to have to respond to an email when I have already read the PM.
I understand that one completely. I'll have to check on the actual coding of it as that is something I haven't played with. I changed only "what" is sent... not how... I'll see if I can write something up to have it check the sessions page to see if the user is actually logged in.... No promises though, as I'm still learning the php language.
@Adam: I found the problem with the quote and code... In the posting portion of the code it loads the "simple_header.tpl" file rather than the ".css" file. I've updated that as well, so now it is the same in both files. This should fix the problem with the code and quote in the "topic reply" section of the posting window. As for the other thing, it was actually one line of code to change. I've set it back to the original... So now if you have the "Notify me of Replies" set in your profile, it will now automatically check the notify on replies box when posting.
Remember this means that unless you want to watch every topic that you reply to for replies, then you have to "uncheck" the box now...
