I've been working on a Wolfenstein 3D hack for a while now, starting from scratch. I'm redoing a project I was working on before, which has unexpectedly gotten the exact same error it has before.

PM_GetPage: Invalid page request

The game explodes out to this message whenever I try to go to E1L3. It might for others as well, but I'm not aware of it. All I've done is utilize a gun bobbing tutorial, as far as I recall. If anyone really cares to help, I've included all modified files in a zip.

Here.

I seriously hope that somebody can help me out on this one, it really sucks not being able to play through EPISODE 1.

And I AM sure it's not damaged map files, if that's a possibility at all. I'm using the originals from 1992.

Are you using the maps from 1.1?
I got the same error in the same map until I got 1.4.

Using any map editor, remove the invalid object in level 3 that is located at coordinate 14,7

Sorry Martin but this doesn't work. I have the same problem in Wolf3D Fully Featured, but I can't see any invalid object in position (14;7). I'm using MapEdit 8.4.

Crap! Apparently, hexadecimal representation was turned on. Actually, the object is at coordinates 20, 7 decimal.

Thanks Ripper! But what was it? In MapEdit I've read "Unknown-Invisible (" in the description bar.

Actually, it's object 49 hex, which equals to 73 decimal.
Apparently, ID messed up this piece of code when adding stuff for Spear of Destiny in WL_ACT1.C

So when you're dealing with the Wolf side of the code, the VSWAP entry for object 73 cannot be found, and it will bomb out.
