Amigos, compadres, friends, pals (however you wish for me to know ye),

First and foremost I am new to the board (which is similar to the Robocop Archive), and secondly I require the assistance of any Doom Wad experts on the improvement of a Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny TC for Doom.

Around 1998 or so a fellow by the name of Laz Rojas created two TC's, and other Wolf3D addons for Doom 2 (which can also be used on Final Doom, TNT or Plutonia) and distributed these on his webpage.

It is now 2005, I tried to download these files on his now apparently defunct website. I haven't heard of the guy in ages, and his old links to the files are now broken. I was able to save all of his work on a CD-RW that I just recently found about 7 weeks ago. I don't know a thing about how to use any Doom utilities to edit Wads, but I was able to splice the original Music files that I extracted from the Wolfenstein 3D and Spear Audiot and Audiohed files.

I am trying to make these music files play when I use the ZDOOM engine to load the Wolf3d and Spear Wad files, but I have had no luck. And the original exe's and Dehacked (or Deh for short)files do not work on Windows XP or 2K, I need someone's assistance in making it possible for these Wads to be fully playable with the least ammount of bugs or errors.

I will appreciate any help given, I have all the files zipped under a file named Wolfendoom.zip with the exception of ArcticWolf and the third episode of Astrostein 3D.

Thank you very much for your time guys....

This is just terrible, I can't believe that out of so many there isn't one single person with Wad editing skills.. someone's got to know something about doom editing skills!!

I really need to know now if there is anyone out there with Doom editing skills in the forum, someone has to reply!!

Laughing

Hi Juan, it's been a long time. Welcome to the forum!

Why don't you just play them by memory/ear instead of ripping them like that?
I would personally enjoy hearing that alot more (your 100% ripped lurking midi on the Dome was kind of disappointing).
But uhh, I never had a problem just using MUS2MIDI or any of these program links. Unless you're talking about something else. Question

P.S. They all work in XP, you just need to go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt to run them properly.

Actually Chris,

I was talking about another problem, I already tried to fix it with the addons you listed for me. As for the Lurking Midi I have re-vamped it and improved it to sound 100% like the Original which is in reality my goal. We'll see how your ears find it..... Twisted Evil muahahahaha

I have posted the revamped version of 'Lurking'. I added it to the second set of midi's that Juan released a few days ago. The set that included 'Pounding Headache' and a couple other tunes. See the Dome News - July 28.
