It is Finally Here The Lost World Part 4 is Done..
it has..
1.Millti Floor and Cilling tex
2.Door Opening in the Middle (not the Teleporter Door and the Locked door)
3.2 New Weapons (Dark wand and the Bloodwand)
4.A New Ammo Type: Green Mana
5.40 Maps
6.5 Strong Bosses
7.Changes Debugmode (No Cheating Untill Later)
8.Has a Good Castlevania Feel to the Mod (good for Castlevania fans)

I just played a few levels and it's quite nice!
I especially like the black and the blue crystal weapon, the green looks a little bit too gloomy I think... which let's me think of why not use animated weapons... did anybody try this yet? I think this could have been a nice and big plus for the green crystal weapon to also show, it's more powerful!
Then one other thing I noticed is, that the shading doesn't look too good especially inside buildings. I guess the palette didn't give it enough different looking colors. This way it looks like some pixel fun a 6 meters in front of you. It's a shame, as it would obviously look awsome with those textures. (Just had a look at it in ChaosEdit and it REALLY looks awsome with those textures (and the higher graphics resolution)).
Also the Low mage really great. The next higher enemy lacked a bit of animation I think.
Just had a look at the last weapon and I just gotta say: WOW! THAT's a nice weapon ;D

Thanks....All tho the Red Crystal Wand is more Powerful cause it's fast shooting then the Green Crystal.  |

I just played through the first level and game play is really great. This is your best work yet Kyo. The graphics are really fantastic and I love the doors that open from the centre.
The weapons look good (Although I still think they look a little big) and the music is awesome, I didn't experience any of the usual glitchiness I get with music in newer mods through VDS.
Also I was wondering if you made Lost World Part's 1 & 2?
I've got 3 and 4 but have been unable to find 1 & 2.
If they are available do you have a link of where I might get them from? |

@Tricob: Maybe so if that Works out a bit i'm try to squeezes my plans ahead.
@Dean: Parts 1 & 2?...... you make me smile thay are not done yet untill part 8 is Done..i started part 3 cause i love the Stroy for the mod i thought i Should start that mod 1st.. BTW i got everything set up for the New's Years Mod "The Lost World Part 5: The Tale of the Dark Brotherhood" Then "The Lost World Part 6: Kate's Story (were you play as Kate Marks Girlfriend)" i got allot for Commits about my mod thay Love it they think it should win an Award I think so to it is MY BEST WORK since Spear of Dreams Saga

Tell you what. December is when I'll be doing serious work on my mod. I'll let you know what my plans are once I get back to working on my own TC. Once I get back to my TC again, I'll know for sure whether or not I want to wait on Adam to finish WinWolf3D instead of doing the code-related work for my TC.

I always like medieval (did I type it right?) mods. This is good. Nicely done. I noticed few typos in the read this section, but that's not a big deal. Good job!!! |

I just posted an updated version of 'Lost World Part 4' that Kyo sent me. It has an updated map of level 38 which fixes a missing end level object bug. For those who already have the set, a maps only patch is also available.

Heh ... that game's tunes are really going around as far as Wolfenstein mods are concerned. Another tune from that same game made it into the title screen of MedEvil. I also plan to have that title song in my own TC, assuming I don't end up with a better tune while I'm working on it ...
