Wow! It's been a while since I've been here. Shocked
I felt like starting a new topic in the Spear Of Destiny section. Wink

::I'm guessing a lot of people have played all 3 Spear Of Destiny games::
Spear Of Destiny - Return To Danger - The Ultimate Challenge.
Most of you know I am crazy about the Mission Disks, I have always liked sequels and a change in atmosphere.

How would you rate each game by how "hard" they were.

Spear Of Destiny: The toughest and quite a challenge. ID always made great games.
Return To Danger: Alright. I always like a change in a sequel. The maps were very confuseing.
The Ultimate Challenge: *cough* Good, but not good enough...even though it was my favorite.

same here about other SOD that contains blue-related graphics makes no sense. Where did these blue graphics comes from?? I don't understand what they designed them for this game.. Twisted Evil

I agree completely!
Return to Danger has the worst levels ever. They are so confusing - and especially annoying! I never get more than about 3 levels into the game before i get irritated and turn it off.

I love the original SOD, the graphics add to original Wolf, and what would we all do without the 25 ammo box?!
Some of the overuse of vines gets to me at times, but the levels are fun and challenging.

Mission One - Only Levels 15, 16, and 18 really challenged me all that much, but still ended up being the most challenging of the entire Wolfenstein series.
Mission Two - Definitely the easiest. But the construction of the maps was even less professional than that of the first Wolfenstein episode, and next to SOD Mission 1, the construction was downright embarrassing. I simply couldn't stand playing more than about 4 levels-worth.
Mission Three - Second hardest, second easiest. This episode offered a little more strategy than its precessor, but I found it even less interesting than Mission 2. I never bothered to finish this one, either.

Indeed they do, despite the level ending screen displaying the names of Spear's original bosses. Quite remarkable, actually.

not just blue related graphics, but ones in bright colors, such as the 1up pill, and the dobermen (spelling) dogs. DOGS AREN'T BLUE!

I have played all of them trough...

S.O.D: The levels were "nicely" challencing, and I liked the desing of the Boss-levels...
But I have to give one minus: Death Knight is a bit too hard to beat with "Death Incarnate"


R.T.D: Well, graphics and textures were good, but the level desing made the game look
more like a joke (Didn't this one include the "Tic Tac Toe"-level?)...
Must remember there were some good levels too...

T.U.C: Well the level desing were better than in R.T.D but still this game couldn't compete
with original S.O.D... But yes, this game was challencing enough, so maybe I give on plus for that.

They could have color changed them to grey, like the weapons pack on Magik's Image world. Those weapons look ok, I used some of them in Codename: Purple Blood.

I dont like how the weapons of bosses are the same:

Trans-Submarine Willy
Wilhelm-Santa Pope
‹bermutant-Hans-the axe
Death Knight- Machine thingy
AOD- Devil Incarnate

they have the same weapons, its like that with SOD-Spear Ressurection also, with Baron von Schmitt's Missiles redrawn to look like flames

But we are comparing it to
A- A mappers first try
B- Origional Wolfenstein from 1992, which has fairly decent maps
C- SOD, which has great maps

WELL on lvl 18 death knight on death incarnate (i always play death incarnate Very Happy ) it was difficult due to the fact that i never use the run keey and that the stupid boss will shoot u with missles if u dont make it to the door fast enuf, and i started with a pistol and 8 rounds.
i dunt know about others, but the boss lvls tend to be diffult due not to the boss but the location. the angel of dath was a peace of cake...like lvl1 .....,.comon man! Shocked

The official source "the SOD Hintbook" says:

"Prove Your Worth, Human!" upon sighting the player

&

"You may wield the Spear" when you kill him.

According to the SODMP Hint books, The Devil Incarnate (abeit they've used a picture of the Axe for him by mistake) says:

Sight:
