it would be awsome to have wolf 3d to have a secret level that goes to a level from doom ecactly as it is like instead of dom having wolfenstein make wolf have doom including staris and stuff like that... ..lol

But if Wolfenstein had "stairs and stuff like that", what would be the point of using them in the secret level only? They'd be better used to make a new, better Wolfenstein mod.

yea? why not just make a mod?

btw there would have to be anther entire axis (z or something) that would require probably tons of code especially if you want the player to "go up" the stairs... summarized: good idea but probably hard 2 do

Though it *has* been done, and in 16-bit code to boot. Orb Of Dilaaria is proof of this, though you'll have to get quite far before you see any stairs.

Nope, not a secret level, AFAIK. This is the very last level, if I'm not mistaken. Haven't gotten there myself yet; I'm on the final secret level, and hopelessly going around in circles. Embarassed

Hmmm............I've gotten to the end and saw many spectacular and intricate mapping concepts, but no stairs or ramps that you can actually "climb" (that is, not counting the ones at some of the earlier level exits). I can't rule it out of course because I certainly didn't find all the levels in the game.

I can empathise with you about going around in circles from time to time. The thing about Orb is that the whole environment is so enormous, with so many different playing permutations, that it's often difficult to methodically search for things in the way you can do in a more conventional mod.
