Hello.

Does IMF format has any instruments which would imitate sound of old science fiction soundtracks? Something like sf movies from late 70 to mid 80' sounded - lot of "space" or "laser" sounds which give rather cheap impression today.

Your best bets are Lead 1 and Synthesized Bass 1. I think the Dulcimer would also do the trick if the octave was low enough.
