Hi!

I'm new to Wolfenstein mapping and i was wondering what i need to add to the zip if i want other people to play my maps! I'm using FloEd!

If there's just new maps, then gamemaps.wl6 and maphead.wl6. That's for the full version. The file endings are different for the Wolf3D demo or Spear.

Are there graphics changes? If yes let me know. If not than just do what Schabbs and Sockdude said.

What would you guys think about a V1.5 of the wolf3d EXE that includes the ceiling colours, music order, par times, and secret level back-to maps inside the gamemaps file? I'm sure it'll also be possible to throw the maphead file itself in there; you'd just have to make it so the part of the engine that loads the maphead STOPS after a certain amount levels; instead of loading the whole thing...

I guess I could try to fix all the bugs in wolf3d for V1.5 while I'm at it... lol. Some bugs that come to my mind are the bosses that can't see you on certain angles, the way the Hitler Ghosts can kick you out of the game when shooting too many flames, the 'Out of Memory' messages, the invalid floorcodes, etc. Maybe I'll make it so that altered VSWAPs with only a few new pictures can rely on the main VSWAP to save room - and so that savegames will tell you how many times you've saved and if you've used the debugging codes.

What other problems do you think should be fixed in V1.5? I have alot more ideas - but would love to hear some suggestions if you would like to share them. This could be a lot of fun... Whee... Laughing
