I got an idea today... digitizing various action figures I have lying around. First I needed to see how feasable this idea was. Well...

Looks pretty crappy up close, and thus could use a little touching up, but with such touching up it might look nice. I've got plenty more, and perhaps they could be used to create a crapload of more guard sprites (heck, it's what they did with ROTT). Anyone else who'd like to experiment with this?

cool, how do you do digitilized pictures and animation, im guessing you'd need more than a video camera or a digital camera or something. All i got is i think i low pixel hand held digital video camera and photoshop 7 which i doubt is enough or is it? This is something i would like to do as I love digitilized pictures and your one is well cool, what's it sposed to be anyways?

Ringman had this idea when I started working on Orb oh so long ago. I ended up not using the frames because I thought it would make the project take longer because it would take awhile to get each frame to look just right (in hindsight, it has taken a long time anyway).

Perhaps you should use 128x128 format to keep enough details Mr Green
I think this would be a very cool usage for the high resolution stuff Wink

So it seems that Wolfenstein 3d moves into the high-res era.
Would it be possible then to do 128X128 weapons? Cause then I'd Digitize models.

With Ripper's code, everything is hi-res.

WHAT???? How could I miss this? High RES EVERYTHING!!!! Ripper, your the man for having nothing better to do then code new stuff for wolf. Thumbs Up

Now comes the big question:

An Wolfenstein 3D editor capable of editing 128x128 textures and sprites (currently not available as far as I know *cough*)

What did you use to edit these then? Smarty pants. Don't make me whip out a hex editor Cheesy Grin

Yep, Ripper's the man. Ta da: http://diehardwolfers.areyep.com/album_page.php?pic_id=116

Ringman, wasn't scaling them down and making them look good at 64x64 another problem we ran into with the digitized graphics? With 128x128, I imagine it would have been a bit easier to do.
