Updated 5/10/03 to fix an error with non-SVN builds that slipped by during testing. This bug caused the 1.1.1 release build not to recognize the xlat lump that controls wall textures. Please redownload if your copy is older than 5/10/03.

This is a port of Gary Ragland's Assassinate Hitler TC to ECWolf. It is made for ECWolf 1.1.1 and requires a registered Wolfenstein v1.4 copy to play--it does not contain the assets from Wolfenstein 3D. Everything is as close as possible to the original experience except to correct a few technical and presentation errors--the levels and textures are exactly the same.

If you haven't downloaded ECWolf, get it here and unzip it over an unmodified copy of Wolfenstein registered v1.4. Then unzip ahitler.pk3 to your ECWolf folder.

Then, drag and drop ahitler.pk3 onto ecwolf.exe or from the command prompt, type "ecwolf --file ahitler.pk3". If it prompts for a game to select (likely if you have a Steam installation or installed both Wolf3D and SoD to your ECWolf directory, pick "Wolfenstein 3D (*.WL6)". The mod should then start immediately.

Updated to fix a bug with the mapinfo that caused the original game's wall textures to appear in place of Assassinate Hitler's custom textures on the 1.1.1 release build. Did anyone else catch it?

I warped up to level 8 yesterday and did a no-clip cheat through the level to look around. I noticed some mixed up walls, but wasn't sure if it was something I might have done. Anyway, the hotfix corrected it - the mixed up walls are now the Spear of Destiny marble walls that Gary inserted.

I did notice some other bugs.

ECWolf:
-Bones and blood not recognized as drinkable gibs (objnum 57 / spritenum 36).
-All gibs become undrinkable at 10% (should be 11%)

Specific to Assassinate Hitler:
-music should not play during level completed

Ahh, didn't notice they mapped two items to bo_gibs. Fixed.
