Kurlandfront SDL
a Wolfenstein 3D add-on by Tristan
coding by ronwolf1705

Storyline:
B.J.'s at it again - this time in Kurland, in German-occupied Latvia.
Here he must seek out Hans Grosse and his henchmen and stop them from launching the Nazi invasion of Great Britain.
Are you up to the task? You will travel through icy snowcaves, dark dungeons, cosy officer clubs and - ultimately - Hans' lair.
Best of luck Captain, you'll need it.


Features:
    - 15 seamless levels in Spear of Destiny-style (no mazefests)
    - 128x128 graphics, many made from scratch, all of which can be used for your own projects after release

SDL code tweaks by ronwolf1705:
    - "Goobers" no longer required to cheat
    - 200 bullets
    - Ambient sounds
    - Animated sprites
    - Bosses drop key when killed
    - Directional sprites
    - Gun bobbing
    - Heartbat sound
    - Hurt sound when hit
    - Knife is silent when attacking
    - More wall textures
    - Moving water texture (4 frames)
    - Multiple floor and ceiling textures
    - No damage flash in God mode
    - Push space & hitwallsound removed
    - Rocket launcher weapon
    - Seamless level flow
    - Shading
    - Signon screen removed
    - Silver and gold key have their own locked door images
    - Spear of Destiny music added
    - SS always throws machine gun
    - Tougher enemies and bosses (hitpoints increased)

Progress report
    - Level design: 20% complete
    - Graphics design: 90% complete
    - Sound design: 95% complete
    - VGAGRAPH design: 90% complete

Looks fantastic, so hires, this is the first of many of this direction I'm sure, now when the community has Ringman's and BoA 8-dir enemies.
Do you use Ringman's 8-dir works?

It looks great! As a fan of the Mac/Jaguar versions, I really enjoy mods that use the high-res sprites!

Now *this* is the way I think hi-res graphics should be, IMO. The graphics *look* like they were made for this palette in particular. There's no "unevenness" in the coloring, and the hi-res graphics benefit from it immensely.

I've been touching up the status bar, I didn't like the weapons display as it was before.
Also touched up the brownish spots in the lettering to red. Shiny huh?
