cool Items and Objects in Wolfenstein

Well I thought of some really cool idea for some objects and items to have in a game, here they are:

Carrot:- Turns Shading off for a limited time...
Portol:- An object that summons random guards and can be destoryed
End Game Item:- An Item that you cannot pick up, but the guards can and if they do its game over... ( sort of know how this is done)
Civillians:- Maybe a Rotational Object, and if you use them they say something
Beer:- Slows the Player Right Down, and say for example when you shoot, it takes a while for the gun to actually shoot... (Drunk Gauge)
Skeleton Key:- A key that can open any locked door (not just a specific locked door)
Locked Elevator Doors
Pistol Item: Say when you pickup a pistol, you get one pistol but then when you get it again you get two pistols

Anybody else got any cool ideas...

Quite interesting. A couple have been done though; the skeleton key was in Projekt Vertilgung, the locked elevator door has been in loads of projects, and the two-pistols thing was in Assault on Totenhammer. I like the idea about the end-game item; so the idea would be to stop the guards walking over it or you're dead? That would create some VERY interesting gameplay options for a mapper (shudders as he thinks what Ack would do with it!).
The civilians actually aren't too hard to do, but you need to write a lot of dialogue if they end up being a big part of the game - believe me, I know.

My brother and I had an idea for a game quite a long time ago where you had to wear hats that gave you different powers (it wasn't the most serious of games). So you wore one hat that allowed you to fire guns, another hat which allowed you to move pushwalls (strength hat or something), one which made you really fast, one that made you really tough and lots of others; I can't remember them all, but I have them written down somewhere just in case I ever get around to making it. The idea was to have loads of puzzle situtions which used the hats in different ways to confound the players brain HA HA HAR!

But I always thought Xarkon's "hole in the floor" idea was the funniest one.

I havn't played many of the recent mods out so i wouldn't know what of these are already out, actually the most recent was Untold story by Max which is where i got the idea for having civis

Some great ideas you have there, a couple of them have been done already. The skeleton key is in Project Vertilgung, the Locked Elevator Door in Project Totengraeber, Spear Ressurection, Project Vertilgung, Rising Evil, tons more...

The end game item, could a very good idea if used the correct way.

The beer, and the civilians could possibly used for a mod that's not based on war.


Well I like the idea of the portal, similar to what doom has Mr Green
