I know it's Bible based... but the game is amazing...

It uses floor and ceiling textures, and you have to put the animals to sleep. There are 30 levels.. and the whole game is quite interesting.

If you haven't.. it's a fun little addition to any true DieHard's collection.

Lol that's funny. I was just about to post in this forum to find out what the fu*k Noah's Ark 3D was right after I checked all the messages. I never heard of it until now. Where can I get it?

It's out there... I can't give the exact site as that would be pirating software, but I must give credit where it is due... MCS found it and told me what to look for. You can buy the game directly from:

http://www.christianlink.com/media/wisdom/super/

or just:

Use any Search engine, and look for Noah's Ark 3d... It's out there...

Happy Hunting!

In my search I've seen a lot about "Super Noah's Ark 3D" for Super Nintendo. Is there a version for PC? Or should I be looking for an SNES Rom of this game?

Also I found something in my search that's kind of funny in an ironic sort of way. Some of his thoughts are pretty shallow and stupid but his main point is pretty impressive. go

Yeah, there's some famous history behind 3D Noah's Ark. I'd rather not attempt to explain it myself and butcher everything, so here's some info:

http://www.encyclopedia-obscura.com/gamesnoah3d.html

Also, some related "humour"...heh:

The package found at the Cabin contains a corrupted (zero-length) maphead file. Click here to download a fixed one:

Finally, get it to work with. I think wolfenstein cabin who posted Noah's Ark 3d might be corrupted file on his own site, not link to where it supported to come from. I'm not guessed it, just wondering Shocked

Well, I finally got it to work. The zip on 'Crappy Games' was ok. Good to see ceiling/floor effects on a set made long ago but some of the graphics suck. They often look more chunky and cruder than on Wolf3D too. Levels are pretty good so far though (I've played 6 of them).

I'm wondering about the copyright issue on this. Did id software allow sets made with its Wolf3D sourcecode to be sold at a profit.

"The rumor is that id gave Wisdom Tree (the creators of Super Noah's Ark) the Wolf3D source code in retaliation for Nintendo's aforementioned poor treatment, but in reality "They paid us decent money for it."

http://www.classicgaming.com/rotw/wolf3d.shtml

"I mentioned earlier that this is a Wolfenstein 3D conversion, and word on the street has it id Software gave the engine away to get back at Nintendo for the treatment their own game was given. Truth is, Wisdom Tree bought the engine for a shitload of money".

You can tell that the deer are SS: they drop a machine-feeder! And the goats are mutants, cause you can't kill them with handfeeding (which, incidentally, looks like you're punching the animals)
And what are the other weapons? Not missile launcher, but "fruit launcher"? (that fruit's gotta be good for something)
I actually had a bit of fun playing it. I wonder if there's an "LIM" cheat for it... 'cause Noah got pretty pissed at me for letting him get spit up by the SS!
By the way, has anyone noticed a few nice features? You can hold down the fire button and keep firing!
Maybe some day someone will convert it back to original wolf (graphic and sound wise). Theres a few more enemies, but there's enough graphics out there to replace them.
More enemies I've noticed: sheep are guards, rams are dogs, and ostriches are officers. Kinda feels weird feeding a mutant... Confused

EDIT: DAMN I had shitty typing.

I have played this game before. It is surprisingly amusing. It suffers from the same issues that the SNES version of Wolf3D did, because they are built on the exact same engine, but it's not a bad game all things considered. I've actually written a review of this game. You can check it out at http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/snes/review/R55373.html Wink
