Not sure if anyone wrote on how to read the FadeOut function for menus, etc. So here's mine.

Here's an explanation of the VL_FadeOut function. You might see this sometimes in the code:

::: CODE :::

    VL_FadeOut (0,255,0,0,51,10);

Well here's what it means:

::: CODE :::

    VL_FadeOut (sg,sg,r,g,b,sp)

sg = Scale glow (0 - 255): Whatever color combo you make with r,g,b, it will start with the darkest of that color combo to brightest of that color on a 256 color palette.

r = Red color values from (0 - 255)
g = Green color values from (0 - 255)
b = Blue color values from (0 - 255)

sp = Speed of fade in / out (The higher the number, the slower the fade sequence.)

Example: If you were to select a color combo of 43,0,0, you would get the color of dark red. Now, you have a sequence of 0,255 the menu will fade from that shade of red all the way up to the brightest shade of that red on a 256 color shade palette. Now let's say you try a combo of 43,43,43, you would get a dark shade of grey. Same fade sequence; your dark grey will turn into the brightest shade of grey on that palette. Capice?
