Can anyone help me? It looks pretty stupid when you press the MLI code and you see a chaingun go down and come up again.

Hey,
From what I know, I used another gun-bobbing code, and I do not know much about this kind of coding.
But, I see this:

gamestate.nextweapon = wp_stengun;


I think that calls in for the nextweapon, which is probably modded to bob.
1. Try to make an exception. 2. Use another kind of code to load the stengun.

Can be quite theoretically.

I changed the code to look like this:

gamestate.chosenweapon = wp_stengun;

But now you see the chaingun go down and the knife comes up.

When you use that tutorial, the gun goes left and right when you move. With this tutorial, the gun goes down when you switch weapons. They are different tutorials.

I did read the whole post.

Well, maybe you should call the weapon first, and then call the goingdown value.

Maybe that helps. Otherwise, remove the "gamestate.changingweapon = gamestate.goingdown = true;" in total;
I think it isn't needed at all in the MLI code.

Just a point: I advise you to change the M-L-I cheat to something else.

Tried it, but the problem still remains. You see the chaingun (or in my case the stengun) go down and see it come up again.

Well, the only thing I can think of is making an exception in the code that manages the bobbing.
Just to tell it "uh, if mli is used, do not use bobbing."

Can someone help me? I'm sure it can be done, I saw it in End of Destiny when I pressed TAB+I and the current weapon would go down and the next weapon would come up.

If I'm not mistaken, you've called the gun to bob down and change whenever you'd aquire a new weapon, if I'm not mistaken? If that's the case, then you'd be calling the command twice, therefore you might see your gun to bob down twice (It did bob down and change to a sten gun, but since you called for it to bob again, it appears as a sten gun was your old weapon, and you called for your weapon to bob down again, which explains the "New weapon to bob down"

Try it out. I haven't tried placing it in my MLI code though.
