Is there a way to make a head or an arm or the enemy to fall when dead? I don't mean using the sprite itself to emulate such within the 64x64 size, but something that can even fly some distance from the main corpse...this can be quite cool

Well, just a though.
Remember the blood splatters tutorial? I think that would help to achieve what you want.

Basically you have to edit the KillActor routine spawn this "blood splatter" and place is
near the enemy but instead of making the splatter to disappear after the animation,
make it spawn the gibs to the floor.

Now when I think about it, it shouldn't be too hard.
I think I post a code for this when I have time to finish it.

can you make it also move horizontally for some time before it stops, to allow making bouncing animation for it?

btw can you report your exe progress on Sonder forum? There is a new interactive texture also to be inserted and defined
