Does anybody knows where I can find the tutorial on how to add more types of ammo to fit certain guns??

Check out BT's "Working With Weapons" code. I used this as a base for WolfDX's code.

You can use WolfDX's code as a guide, if all else fails. That's one of the reasons I posted it - So coding in multiple types of ammo wouldn't be such a nightmare for others. Smile

Talking about your mod.. Tricob I just noticed but you got a nice knife in WolfDX Razz
it's acting like the gun, I can actually stab someone from miles away.. is it a bug or something like that?

OT - LOL! Yep - it's a side effect for fixing that HiRes-related bug that decreases the effectiveness of your gunshots. Haven't figured out a better solution for this yet, but I haven't printed out WL_AGENT.CPP yet, either. Avoid putting my code change where the code checks for the gun hitting a target, and you're cool. Smile

Just take it a step at a time, like I did. Take it from the beginning of the tutorial, and work your way from there to the end.

The big differences between BT's tutorials and the WolfDX source are the code chunks where you see "#ifdef".

As far as WL_AGENT.CPP is concerned, it might be easier to just copy the WolfDX version over to your source code directory, and put in your changes to that file from there. Just make sure you back up your original WL_AGENT.CPP file first; copy it to "-WL_AGENT.CPP" or something, and then do your Copying. Smile

Okay... I took stuff from your engine to get the ammo2 to work. and the engine compiled... but when I try to get into the first level guess what? Very Happy
the game crushes Very Happy *bashing head on keyboard" I really don't know what's the problem.. since the engine compiles just fine.. If anyone can please help me on this, PLEASE!

Does this happen after the "Get Psyched" screen fades out, and before the game screen fades in?

I don't remember actually... I think it was before the GetPsyched screen...
I really need the different ammo type since I've changed the machine gun to a shotgun..
I think it'll be a bit unrealistic if all the weapons will use the same ammo type...

Well, whether or not it crashes before the Get Psyched screen determines what kind of error it could have; you might check the directory for TXT files that start with the letters "STD", though.

I'm sorry I have resurrect this topic.. But I just need some help for adding a second ammo type... This feature gives me HELL for more than 3 months now... I even tried to use some sources like Tricob's WolfDX as guides... but I just can't enable it...
I was wondering if anyone can gimme some help here since that's the only feature I'm missing right now... Neutral so please! if anyone can help me on this please, I will really appreciate it. Sad
