It is a cool game! the maps are nice and that game is one tough one to beat! only I am surprised.

Martin (or MCS) is a coding genius so why didn't he add so many coding?

I would say below average, but not poor. Because it just fusterates me when keys are hidden in secrets.

It's very hard and there's not much code changes for MCS. Evil or Very Mad
I got stuck on the first level and never played it again.

Actually I was just playing this yesterday. Damn, it's hard to find the keys! I found the 'MCS' cheat to come in rather useful... Cheesy Grin

I said 'average' though perhaps I'm being premature... these puzzly type of games I can usually get into eventually. And it has some cool touches, like that fragment of E1M1 with all the enemies killed and the secrets cleaned out... I enjoyed that.

You know, I noted that as well. I was wondering whether there was any good story behind this decision... maybe MCS doesn't approve of excessive violence or something. An interesting point, but I admit that some of the fun goes when the blood isn't there. A sad indictment of humanity... heheh...

I actually like making my death animations MORE bloody. Twisted Evil

Me too, I do it all the time. Smile
As for the mod, I would say average. No blood, less fun.

ok Martin, you have stumped me. Level 23 is unbeatable IMO. I've spent so much time on it and haven't found one key. I thought I was doing good for the first several hours of play but I have no clue why I've missed a secret or something. One of these days I should use mapedit. Please help me. I even broke down and used the mcs code just to see what may be in the future and I still didn't find an exit door. Oh, this is torture. Razz EDIT: After posting in this thread, I went back to the game and started to move in a counter clockwise direction and finally pushed a wall revealing a key. The level was finished soon after. That first key wasn't hidden too bad, the wall just needed a different approach to open it.

Excellent mod that shows what a terrific mapper you are. Just when you think there are no more guards, pow! And there is one level that took me hours because I kept bypassing a room to check a secret in because it was an identical room to one I'd been in and I didn't realize that and would just open the door, think "I've already checked that hundreds of times" and then move on. Argh!!! That room ended up with a secret and a key.

Anyway, I'm glad to have finally played this mod. It is in my top 10.

Much thanks,

MASTER BUMP

I felt that while the mod is old and you can't expect much; mapwise with mod was overly frustrating and made me want to punch something Razz Scores an "Average" from me.

I made a fair amount of progress on this mod, but I was stuck with Weapon #1 for so long, it made the game too slow-paced to me. I thought the concept was good, but I thought it did the "dogs-only" approach for too many levels in a row. A higher variety of characters would have helped, but this mod didn't offer that. After a few levels, I just got tired of it, set it aside, and never went back. Sad
