At about 2:44 into this video, the player picks up a 'roasted chicken'. I need to find this sprite. I've no idea which game it originally comes from, but it sort of looks like the one from Duke Nukem II. However, once I located that, I found out this was not the case. The one in the video (it's a DOOM wad with many old-school game references, worth a watch) is more HQ than the rather dodgy one I found elsewhere online from Duke Nukem II.

Thanks in advance!

Just take a screenshot of the video at 2:45 (Alt - Print Screen), then paste it into Microsoft Paint and erase the stuff around the chicken. It looks clear enough for a good 64x64 sprite already, finding the original would get pretty much the same result anyway. 5 minute job max.

I've tried, but I haven't been able to do it justice... I'll use my result as a placeholder for now. Surely it'll turn up in somebody's mind at some point...

It does seem kind of familiar. I managed to extract it using Wad Mangle (if you're curious):

This game looks like it has a lot of interesting sprites in it Smile

As usual, Chris saves the day. And that Wad Mangle looks interesting. I've had a hard time getting XWE working... I used to surf around the different DOOM wads and find bits and pieces I was sure people hadn't used in Wolf mods yet...

Thanks again!

Ah... Anything better when you've been shot by a couple of Nazis than a big, fat turkey? Think not!

Chris... This is great! Thanks.
