I hope it is not bad form to make a poll about your own mod, so excuse me the outrage; I was merely curious. Overwhelmingly curious.

Many years have passed since the release of Trilogy Revisited + Nocturnal Missions and most of that time was marked by long periods of inactivity on my part. A period of inactivity usually means that I'm completely consumed by something unrelated and pay very little attention to Wolfenstein and the community, so I am and usually have been largely out of touch with whatever was going on in the Wolfenstein modding scene. That's why I tend to miss many discussion and opinions.

The SDL version of my mod has been released a few months ago, so I assume that any Wolfers willing to try TR+NM but previously thwarted by the ancient DOS format have already done so. Therefore, this is probably the best time to ask: have you played Trilogy Revisited + Nocturnal Missions? What is your opinion? Do you have any especially fond memories? Unpleasant ones? How do the maps hold up after all the years? Any other comments you feel like sharing?

Although I have provided you with poll options, I'm hoping for written opinions.

I think there's a bad tradition within the community to fear bringing up your own mods. It wasn't until 2006 or -07 when people started making topics about my mods though I'd been busting my hump for 3 years at that point making maps & whatnot. So I take my hat off to those that start topics on their own about their own mods, 'cause if that wasn't allowed we'd still only be yakking about End of Destiny, Totengraeber and Team Raycast mods.

AS FOR TRILOGY REVISITED... I was stoked when I first played it, 'cause they reminded me of an overpowered, simplified and energized version of my own maps. This mod inspired me to make "W.O.L.F." from late '08 & to this day I'm still inspired by many of your tricks. Together with the classic line-up of BJ Rowan, Gary & AReyeP (and Ariel's aesthetics), you along with Ron, Ipank7000 & Eric Lin are my biggest mapping inspirations in this community as of 2014.

So I put Very Good though I'd rather say Excellent. Wink

Definitely very good. Smile They are some imperfections, but the fun is never spoiled. Episode 1 is the weakest link but even that is decent enough.

From what I remember, it was very good. Your maps were 'clean' but provided a nice challenge.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! For those who still remember their playthrough, I'd like to ask an additional question, though. Out of Episodes 4-6 (the Nocturnal Missions), which episode was the best and why?

This is a tough call. Clearly Episodes 4 through 6 were the best, but they differ by really, really little to be honest. I'll have to think about it.
