Has anyone else noticed the dates on this forum are slightly off?

It says today is September 10, 2014. I'm posting this message at 3:45 AM UTC on Tuesday, September 9, 2014.

And where I live right now, it is still September 8.

It's displaying the time and date correctly for me.

It also is for me, right now.

I've noticed this at times, that the date and time are incorrect (more than 24 hours off, so it can't just be a different time zone).

Quote from the "Edit profile" screen (The text in red is added by myself for clarity):
Quote:
Time management:
Forum settings ignored when set to an automatic mode (JavaScript is required for the first two).
For the manual mode, the DST difference is the difference between Daylight Saving Time and normal time for your country (from 0 to 120 minutes, typically 60).

* The mode marked by the asterisk (Server local time) is used by default on this board and is recommanded by its administrator.

To have the forum show the correct time when you log in, go into the "Profile" section, scroll to the "Time Management" options, and select "Your computer time".

I just checked -- that actually is selected. And right now, it is displaying the correct time. But sometimes, it is off.

As I said, at the time I posted this thread, it said it was September 10, 2014. The local date where I live was September 8. That was 2 days off, so it couldn't be just a different time zone.

I remember seeing this in the past as well.

The forum allows time zones with a difference of up to 25 hours, going by the selections I see. So, it is possible to trigger a two-day's difference if you view the forum at the right time. Smile
