I recently started replaying the ECWolf version of Totengraeber. This was one of my favorite mods back in the day, right up there with Gary Ragland's work. I was surprised to read on B.J. Rowan's site that he actually considers Conflict in the Fatherland superior from a mapping perspective over Totengraeber. I don't think I agree with this because while CiTF is very good, I enjoy Totengraber more and to me it seems more "polished".
So from a level design perspective, which one of these classic mods do you prefer? |

I haven't played all of CitF but I have finished Totengraeber and comparing to what I've seen of CitF, Totengraeber belongs on top.
Totengraeber as a whole is probably the only mod of the 2000 or prior timeframe that can reach or even surpass Gary's top works. |
